I know people have been dying for an update on our film as it bounces around Germany and Holland for the last few weeks, so here it goes. (Barcelona pics still being uploaded here.)

Through the madness the World Cup in Germany, our crew has filmed Tobias Thomas in Hamburg, Germany (”we walked down the craziest street ever”), revisted the BPitch Control and Kompakt crews, as well as travelled to Amsterdam with the Wighnomy Brothers (”got really unbelievably funny stuff”) and filmed loads of great people and places in between. The film’s human heart keeps beating, and the backdrop of the glorious pagentry of the beautiful game hasn’t hurt, either. Fortuitous coincidences keep happening like this with our film, things that just make the film that much better, and the thought that we’re putting it all on the line for the movie a little less nerve-wracking.

Amy’s getting email via her BlackBerry, so if you have a word of encouragement, by all means, send it along.

Back here things aren’t slowing down, either. There’s the continuing column for the Boston Phoenix, DJing electronic music at the Middlesex Lounge (7/06 and 7/20 this month!) PanAm Fridays at the Enormous Room.

Digitalism has done remix after remix that have shocked the world. This one is a bit under-the-radar, making the rounds on white label bootlegs and inside DJ mixes, but here it is in uncut digital glory:

The Cure - Fire in Cairo (Digitalism Remix)
